Scott T. Buie, CLU, entered the insurance business in October, 1976 at the age of 21.  In his 22nd year he became one of the youngest members of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).  At age 32 he qualified as a life member of the MDRT.

Scott joined Standard Insurance Company in 1980.  He has qualified for Standard’s top production club for eleven years with Standard.  This club usually consists of the top 15 agents in the company.

 

  • Scott has led the entire field force in Disability production.
  • Scott is the recipient of the Gold Medallion which requires ten years in the company’s top club, the Achievement Club.  At the time he was one of only 12 agents that have ever received the Gold Medallion in the history of the company.
  • He received his CLU in 1989.
  • Recipient of the Exclibur Silver Sword Award
  • Annually qualifies for teh National Quality Award.
  • Scott expanded his practice into the employee benefits in 1992

Scott resides in Salt Lake City with his wife, Leianne and four children.  Leianne is Scott’s high school sweetheart.  Scott and his family enjoy playing tennis, golf and skiing.
